Good Road is a media relations, event management and writing agency and record label based in Boston, Massachusetts. With more than two decades of PR and marketing experience for music, arts and fashion clients, we work for unique, innovative and newsworthy clients of all stripes, from internationally-renowned record labels and fashion brands to self-published authors and up-and-coming independent musicians.
 

Since the early 1990s, Good Road Founder Brian Coleman has implemented hundreds of successful media relations and marketing campaigns. His work has included successful event activations at the Sundance Film Festival and at Timberland retail stores, as well as PR for the acclaimed music documentary Big Fun in the Big Town; the Montreal International Jazz Festival; Grammy-winning independent composer and bandleader Maria Schneider; and just about everything in-between.
 

Each Good Road project gets hands-on, one-on-one attention, exploring all potential press angles and getting to know our clients before work begins. We maximize regional and national exposure and always give our clients the most bang for their buck.

About Brian Coleman
 

Good Road's Founder Brian Coleman has worked as a media relations and marketing professional for more than two decades, at companies including Timberland and Boston's Braithwaite & Katz Communications.
 

Along the way, he has also enjoyed a side career as an acclaimed music journalist, with three nonfiction music books to his name: Check the Technique Volume 2: More Liner Notes for Hip-Hop Junkies (Wax Facts Press, 2014); Check the Technique, Liner Notes for Hip-Hop Junkies(Villard / Random House, 2007; Shinko Japan, 2008); and Rakim Told Me (Wax Facts Press, 2005), in addition to hundreds of freelance articles in publications including XXL, The Source,Wax Poetics, URB, CMJ, Boston Herald and Metro Newspapers.
